A genuinely well-made chair is one of the hardest things to find in today's market. The joinery, the proportions, the way a seat is shaped for a human body rather than a production mould — these things were simply understood by craftsmen of the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries in a way mass production has never replicated.  Our collection of vintage and antique chairs spans French Renaissance carved dining chairs, English and French bobbin corner chairs, Victorian carved walnut armchairs, oak knitting chairs, and rustic Dutch farmhouse seating. Each piece is sourced in person across the Netherlands, Belgium, and France, examined for structural integrity, and listed with honest condition notes.  A single antique chair placed well changes how an entire room feels.
